How double chance bets settle
Double chance covers two of three 1X2 outcomes: 1X (home or draw), X2 (draw or away), or 12 (home or away, no draw). Check the pick text for which pairing we mean.
We use the same match result model as 1X2 but publish here when the outright win is too tight while two outcomes still combine to a strong probability — often when a draw is live but one side is still clearly stronger.
When this market fits
- You like a side but want draw insurance on a tight fixture
- The away team is capable but you do not trust them to hold on for ninety minutes
- Prices on straight 1X2 offer no value but the double chance line still misprices
When to steer clear
- Double chance is so short there is almost no return for the stake
- You are only using DC to avoid picking a loser — without reading the fixture
- Both teams must win and a draw kills either side’s season goal
